
Ger Fang grew up in San Diego where he started his professional career in public accounting. He received
his Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from San Diego State University and holds several professional
certifications including Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), and Certified
Information Systems Auditor (CISA). He has over 13 years of corporate audit and compliance experience
and currently works in the health insurance industry as an internal audit professional. He is also a
licensed Real Estate Agent serving numerous clients throughout the Twin Cities with their real estate
needs.
In his spare time, he pursues his passions of community service, fostering leadership, and sharing the
Hmong culture. While in San Diego, he was actively involved with the Hmong community serving as an
executive member on the Lao Hmong Family Association of San Diego non-profit organization to host the
annual new year celebration. He also continues to volunteer his skills in the geej and Hmong wedding
ceremonies within the community and teaching these skills to the youth.
He recently moved to the Twin Cities to spend more quality time with family and continues to give back
through community service. Currently he volunteers and serves on the Finance Committee providing
financial oversight for a non-profit organization serving refugees and victims of torture.
