Kou is President & CEO of JB Vang (JBV), a boutique real estate development company in St. Paul, MN. Since 1984 (40 Years), JBV has been providing commercial real estate services in the Twin Cities. JBV provide services such as; Development, Advisory, Management, and Facilities Management for both our in-house portfolio and select third party clients. Throughout its history, JBV has developed over $1B worth of real estate and currently manages over 2MM SF of space across multiple service lines.
Kou is also President & CEO of Legacy Funeral Home (LFH). A culturally sensitive funeral home in the Twin Cities serving the Hmong Community since 1996 (27 Years). Along with the services that are offered at the funeral home, LFH is a vertically integrated enterprise that comprises of a casket manufacturing company in Laos and a distribution company in Thailand. LFH offers its culturally sensitive services to the Hmong Community as well as to the Hispanic Community, East African Community and other BIPOC Communities in the Twin Cities and across the Country. JBV is especially proud of its International Repatriation Services where LFH can reunite loved ones back home from other Countries.
Kou is Chairman & CEO for Lake Country Community Bank (LCCB). LCCB is a community bank that was founded in Morristown, MN in 1927 (97 Years) and has been providing financial services to the Communities of Morristown, Faribault and Nerstrand. LCCB has recently opened a Loan Production Office (LPO) to expand its geographical footprint to include the Twin Cities and its surrounding suburbs.
