
Nom Fue Thao, Esq., is a respected attorney and community leader with a strong record of public service and professional excellence. A William Mitchell College of Law graduate, he is the founder and managing attorney of Thao Law Firm, where he has served clients since 2008. He also directs Lashia Adult Day Care Center, reflecting his commitment to elder care and community wellness. Born and raised in Madison, Wisconsin, Mr. Thao graduated from East Senior High School and earned Computer Science and Business degrees before pursuing law. His early career included roles in the State of Wisconsin’s Unemployment Insurance Division and as a systems analyst at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics. Beyond his professional life, Nom Fue Thao is a devoted husband to Mai Vang, with whom he has six children. Four of their children are college graduates with advanced degrees, and two are currently in high school. He actively engages in civic life, supporting the region's political leaders, families, and community organizations.
